This book should be required reading in high school. I have 3 friends who left God's green earth by suicide and I don't think any of them would have done so if they knew and practiced what Dr. Leaf explains in this book. We MUST learn to focus on the positive side of our lives rather than focusing on the bad! Obviously we have all suffered thru something if not ALOT! We still have the Awesome Promises of God to encourage us and give us hope! What you focus on is what you will become! I nearly became a casualty myself after losing my wife to bad circumstances and focusing on the negatives and would have, could have, should have... Dr. Leaf saved my LIFE with her many years of research! No longer do I focus on the negatives for more than a few minutes as God is not through with me yet and he came so that I would have life and life more abundantly! PLEASE read this book and learn what your "Stinking Thinking" is doing to your body, mind and soul! YOU WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!!! HALLELUJAH!!!

Awesome Book!!!

My father in law let me borrow this book to read, and it has helped so much with my anxiety. I just had to buy my own copy because I needed to go back and reread. As anyone knows who suffers from anxiety you have to retrain your brain. Dr Leaf has an awesome way of explaining things and she rely' s on The Great Physicians word to do it; we cannot over come anything without Jesus Christ!! Would recommend this book to anyone who suffers from anxiety!!!

Hope for Creating Right-Thinking Patterns

This book is well written from a knowledgeable scientific perspective and has a fair number of schematics for helping to explain the concepts. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book. The results of wrong-thinking are easily explained in light of the types and amounts of chemicals that are released into our systems, with far-reaching consequences at the DNA level...which Ms. Leaf also explains are easily reversible as we unravel and resolve the thought processes that got us there in the first place.

She has presented her material in an easy-to-understand and engaging manner and inspires hope in the heart.

THE WAY IT IS

This textbook is unique concerning transcranial Doppler because Dr. Alexandrov does not edit other people's work but concentrates on case presentations that clinicians dealing with stroke and TIA patients will all relate to. I've done 20,000 transcranial Doppler studies over the past 30 years. I learned how to better differentiate hyperemic flow from hyperdynamic flow and was introduced to the Soustiel ratio which deals with posterior circulation vasospasm. The rest was pure confirmation of hemodynamic principles that work on stroke patients time and time again. It is hard to believe in the United States CTA and MRA are the only tools available for cerebral circulation analysis in a very large percentage of mid-to-large sized hospitals. There is an educational breakdown somewhere.

Profound, Incredible, Amazing, Beautiful...etc.

Snarled by L.L. Collins. Wow, what a powerful, exceptionally beautiful emotional read! Seriously, if triggers of mental health issues, thoughts of suicide or if you were or are a child who grew up in foster care this may not be the read for you. If you're not, I advise all to read this novel. Incredible, there aren't enough positive words I have for this read.This author expressed clearly what it's like to go through life with such tragedy and hardship. I do not know anyone who's suffered closed to what Beau went through but through L.L.'s words it gives you a clear and precise incling. Beau is a beautiful man inside and out, whether you like tattoos or piercings is irrelevant, do not judge him by that please and definitely do not judge him by what you see on the cover design. Once you read his story, read what happens after he meets April, see what causes him to down spiral and how his family handles it? Amazing, download now you'll see for yourself, there's no other way to describe the outcome as phenomenal. This is more than a HEA, there really are no words for how profound this story is and I'm so grateful I stumbled onto this book, that L.L. shared her talent with us. This book is nothing but pure talent. If there were typos I don't remember them because the story was that powerful, besides I'm not the grammar police and don't wish to be. I'm not picky, I don't read books with a fine toothpick, as long as it's legible, mistakes or not, I feel the author shared her work with us and diligently worked very hard so I can choose not to judge and am willing to overlook a lot. This is my theory with all authors not just this one. I was not asked to write a review or paid to. I do not know this author and am not a friend, this may be the only time I've read something by her.

Sweet, sizzling romance

This is a great little read. It's well written and edited and has all the elements of a good spanking romance: rugged, handsome man; naughty damsel in distress; and some sizzling spanking scenes. I found myself actually laughing out loud twice, which is rare. Once was when the bratty heroine (Tammy) shakes Chase's soda out of spite and puts it back in the fridge. The other was her response to being informed she would be punished: "You mean like docking my pay?" Delightful!

A Thoughtful New Take on Dating Smart

Truth: I don't normally gravitate toward self-help or how-to books. But Steinberg's fresh and thoughtful take on dating drew me in. Steinberg speaks to smart women who aren't interested in playing games to catch a man. She offers quick, practical exercises to help women identify strengths, limiting beliefs, partnership priorities and more, and walks us through small-step-by-small-step to get us from thinking about improving our dating lives to taking actions to improve our dating lives. The personal and professional anecdotes she includes pushed me to take an honest look at whether I've been "dating smart" and what I could do to be more strategic and clear-eyed about my dating life. Definitely a recommendation for my single friends--and there's valuable thought exercises in here for my partnered friends, too.
