hits another home run

The Gray Spear Society continues to battle the enemies of God, and I'm not disappointed. There is so much going on in this book. Catholic monks think they are trying to kill the Antichrist, but he is really a child prophet. At the same time, the heroes have to solve an old murder mystery with a terrible secret at the center. The mob gets its ass kicked. Wonderful stuff.

rocks the boat!!

This author certainly isn't afraid of rocking the boat. By the time you get to the end of Psychological Damage, the entire series has changed. Characters get killed, promoted, and shuffled around. Every chapter brings a new surprise. If the next book is anything like this one, I can't wait to read it.

Not for the faint of heart or weak stomach

If you have a weak stomach or do not like violence DO NOT READ THIS BOOK. Usually this type of thing does not bother me too much, but there were times that I had to shut off my Kindle because it became very disturbing. I really enjoyed the book before this one and so far I am enjoying the next one in the series, but this one has very graphic torture scenes and without having a spoiler alert one character has a talent that as another says "Yuk" The story is really good and moves along the series well otherwise. The characters are engaging and you really want to find out what will happen next. In fact even though I had to turn my Kindle off at times it wasn't long before I had to turn it back on to find out what happens next. If it were a little less graphic I would probable give it
