Best British Army Uniform Book EVER!

Few books can combine the scope of detail and level of research this title does. It would take other uniforms series several volumes to encompass the uniforms of this period, whereas Mr. Forsten does just that.
This book is a wonderful refernce for wargamers, modelers, painters, historians and military enthusiasts. A "must buy" for any good collection.

Excellent first rate uniform book

Bryan Fosten is an expert on the uniforms of the British Army. This books gives a nice comprehensive survey during the period when dress uniform was evolving and worn, both on the battlefield and for ceremony. The numerous illustrations are positively glittering, with excellent details on many accoutrements as well. The drawings are arranged thematically and easy to understand.

The book was purchased for my husband who said it is everything he expected. Excellent information and reference book Showed slight signs of exposure to moisture and dust particulars possably from storage for a long period of time. Nothing wrong with the book just a little physical damage.
